Laser Skin Resurfacing

Fractional Skin Resurfacing for Multiple Skin Conditions - and Minimal Downtime

Many dermatological and cosmetic skin conditions can be improved with fractional laser skin resurfacing. Only Palomar® gives you a fractional skin resurfacing system to treat all these conditions quickly and cost-effectively.

Fractional laser skin resurfacing with Palomar maximizes client aesthetic outcomes while minimizing procedure risk and reducing downtime. It's the smart approach to skin resurfacing that uses microbeams to create areas of treated tissue surrounded by untreated tissue, which provides faster healing and reduced side effects.

We invented and patented micro-fractional laser technology. Our technology is the perfect choice for the treatment of wrinkles, acne and surgical scars, melasma, striae, unwanted textural irregularities, crow's feet, blotchy skin and more, on virtually any trouble spot on the body - face, neck, chest, arms, legs.

Invest in a skin resurfacing laser platform with Palomar and get unlimited revenue potential with the following techniques:

Fractional Non-Ablative Skin Resurfacing: A simple treatment approach that promotes skin coagulation without requiring costly preparation and cleanup, yet delivers excellent aesthetic results with minimal redness or swelling.

How Fractional Skin Resurfacing Works

Fractional skin resurfacing with Palomar uses laser energy microbeams to create areas of affected tissue that extend through the epidermis into the dermis. These areas can be either "non-ablative" (the laser beams coagulate the affected tissue) or "ablative" (the laser beams vaporize the affected tissue).

Non-ablative procedures are minimal to no downtime procedures, while ablative procedures provide a single treatment option.  The body's natural healing process creates new, healthy tissue to replace the areas of affected tissue, resulting in healthier, younger-looking skin.

Palomar's new ablative technology, the Groove Optic, creates a unique, grooved line injury pattern on skin that increases ablative tissue coverage while preserving the benefits of fractional column approaches.

The Lux2940 Groove Optic creates a unique grooved injury pattern on the skin, which preserves portions of healthy tissue surrounding the treatment zones so clients can receive high ablative coverage with minimal downtime. While keeping the stratum corneum in place, the Lux1540 uses high-precision microbeams to create narrow, deep columns of tissue coagulation in the epidermis and dermis.

Advantages of laser skin resurfacing:

Flexible treatments for several skin conditions Well-tolerated, easy treatment sessions Options for no-downtime and minimal downtime treatments Excellent treatment outcomes

How does it work?

Your provider uses a fractional laser from the company that invented and patented micro-fractional laser technology. Fractional skin resurfacing with Palomar uses laser energy microbeams to create areas of affected tissue that extend through the epidermis into the dermis. The body's natural healing process creates new, healthy tissue to replace the areas of affected tissue, resulting in healthier, younger skin.

How long does it take?

Most treatments last no more than an hour. Depending on the condition being treated, your provider may recommend a single treatment session or a series of progressive treatments for your best results.

Does it hurt?

Depending on the options your provider selects, most people feel minimal discomfort during and after the treatment. In some cases, your provider may ecommend mild pain management options during the procedure and/or for a few days following the treatment.

How many treatments will I need?

Most treatments last no more than an hour. Depending on the condition being treated, your provider may recommend a single treatment session or a series ofprogressive treatments for your best results.

How quickly will I recover?

Usually you may resume your regular activities the same day following some treatments; more aggressive procedures may require several days of healing. Ask your provider about what you can expect from your treatment.

What can I expect after treatment?

Depending upon the treatment option your provider recommends, you can expect to experience a temporary redness, warmth, and swelling at the treatment site, which typically lasts only a few days. In other cases, some post-care wound management may be necessary for a few days following treatment. Your provider will discuss potential side effects and your post treatment expectations with you based on the type of treatment you'll receive.
